The Ugandan senior national team, has arrived in Uyo ahead of Wednesday’s international friendly match against Nigeria.
Led by the head of Competitions and Youth at the Federation of Uganda Football Association, Darius Mugoye, the delegation landed in Abuja on Monday morning, before connecting a flight to the Akwa Ibom state capital.
The team were lodged at the exquisite Le Meridian Hotel on the outskirts of the city, where the Super Eagles team will also stay.
On Monday evening, the players and coaches of The Cranes trained ahead of the game.
Uganda are still expecting Brian Majwega, Isaac Isinde, Ibrahim Kiyemba and Brain Umony to join up with the squad.
Wednesday’s game will kick off at 6pm Nigerian time.
